Thomson Reuters is enhancing its ONESOURCE API Token Generation. This update will introduce the ability to refresh tokens, providing improved functionality and security for our API users.
What's changing?
• A new field "refresh_token" to the current response of oauth2/v1/token endpoint
• Ability to use “refresh_token” to generate a new access token according to oauth2 specs
• The new element “refresh_token” might cause interruptions for customers who do a schema validation for the current API structure before sending a request. It is mandatory to start considering the new element in the validation.
There is no impact to users and APIs will continue to work. For more information about this update, please refer to our Developer Portal at Generating Token. The documentation will be updated with details on the new refresh token feature upon release.
